What geographical areas do you cover?

What areas does PMSL have expertise in?

Our 32 trainers have expertise in a range of topics including: Management & Leadership, Negotiation, Presentations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Communication, Customer Service, Change, Time Management and Creative Thinking to name a few.  For a selection of the most popular courses we run please see our training page.

Do you offer any accredited courses or professional qualifications?

We provide CMI-accredited Management & Leadership and IC-accredited Professional Consulting qualifications that will equip the professional managers and consultants in your organisation with the skills and credibility to do their job really well.  Qualifications we provide are Awards, Certificates and Diplomas at RQF Level 3, 5 and 7.  Have a look at our qualifications page for more information.

What makes PMSL different from other training providers?

There are many business psychologists who do a bit of training and many trainers who know a bit of psychology.  PMSL is different because our qualified business psychologists specialise in training. There is a vast body of psychological knowledge and research that helps explain why people behave the way they do.  This knowledge can help people be better communicators, influencers and leaders and our aim is to make this knowledge available to all. The content of our training courses is based on sound psychological principles.  Participants experience for themselves the power of psychological concepts and how they can be applied at work.

What can I expect from a PMSL training course on the day?

We aim to deliver a course that minimises disruption to your normal working day.  Our trainers come to you and fit around your working hours.  Behind the scenes, PMSL people will be working hard to ensure that you can relax and rely on the fact that delivery of your course is well organised.  The trainer will bring all material with them. The course itself will be stimulating and engaging.  As well as using toys and puzzles to engage the group, there will be experiential learning during the course.  Participants will be able to test the value of the skills and techniques by trying them out during the course.  Our experienced trainers will give feedback to each participant (after skills practise), which is designed to take them to the next level, whatever that level is for them.

I want a course, what do I do?

Telephone or email us to let us know what your learning objectives are for the participants - what do you want them to know or do differently as a result of the training? We will listen to your needs and then put together a suggested course outline for you, which we think will meet your specified needs.  When you are happy with the outline, we will design the course content, including a course workbook and learning activities.  The content will be tailored for your organisation and the specific audience; taking into account their level of seniority, previous experience, existing knowledge and culture. Once the course content is ready, we will then prepare an approach that will work on the day.  Maybe delegates will need extra empathy and understanding around their current issues?  Maybe they will need a greater degree of challenge?  Whatever the case, the style of delivery will at once be obviously ‘PMSL’ and obviously right for the individuals present.
